Pancakes

 You can make these pancakes in a hurry! They are mixed in a blender. 

Explaining a recipe the children learn a lot of new words, 
but you may also present the different measures.

about 5 minutes 

about 15 minutes 

2 cups milk 
¾ cup white sugar 
2 eggs 
1-teaspoon vegetable oil
1-teaspoon vanilla extract§
2 cups flour 
1 ½ tablespoons baking powder

about 6 servings 

Pour milk, sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla in the blender.
Add flour and baking powder. 
Blend until smooth. 
Then heat a frying pan, it must be very hot, with butter and fry the pancakes. 
They must be brown on both sides. 

Serve hot. 

You may prepare 
Lemon pancakes: 
sprinkle with lemon juice and caster sugar. 

Orange pancakes - 
melt 25g (1 oz) butter. 
Mix 2 tablespoons of marmalade 
3 tablespoons of freshly squeezed orange juice. 
Serve hot as a sauce.
